M
any of us find it hard to believe that Jews suffer from  problems with alcohol or other drugs - but this disease does not discriminate. Addiction affects the young and the old, rich and poor, men and women. Like any challenge we may face, our chances for success are much better with the support of family and community.

Jewish Addiction Services (JAS) addresses the challenges of substance use, abuse and addiction through the development and implementation of prevention and educational programming, recovery-focused counseling; and treatment and referral services. We serve adolescents, adults and families suffering from alcohol, drug or other addictions. JAS is certified by the State of Maryland as an outpatient program, a DWI/DUI educational and treatment program, and is a referral agency of the courts.

If you, or someone you love, is suffering with addiction, JAS wants you to know: You are not alone. We are here to help.
